Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Grace (“the Service”, “the Application”), a web application for organizing recipes, planning meals and building shopping lists as a family. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

Grace lets its users save, organize and share recipes within a family group, including the automatic extraction of recipes from text, photos or audio using artificial intelligence tools, the planning of a meal calendar, and personal and shared shopping lists within the family group.

3. User accounts

To use Grace you need to create an account, either with an email and password or through your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

4. Plans and billing

Grace offers a free plan with limited functionality and a paid plan (“Familiar”) on a recurring monthly subscription. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers —Paddle.com Market Limited (as Merchant of Record for international payments) and Mercado Pago (for payments in Argentina)— and are also subject to those providers’ terms.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before that date. You can cancel at any time from your profile; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. See our Refund Policy for more details.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, audio recordings and any other content you upload to Grace (“User Content”). By uploading it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display it within the Service for the sole purpose of providing you with the application’s functionality (including processing by AI tools to extract or transcribe recipes).

You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to the content you upload, and for not infringing the rights of third parties.

6. AI-generated content — important notice

Grace uses artificial intelligence to extract, transcribe or suggest recipes from the content you upload. This content may contain errors, omissions or incorrect interpretations of ingredients, quantities or preparation steps. You are responsible for reviewing any generated or extracted recipe before cooking it, especially with regard to allergens, dietary restrictions or health conditions. Grace does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and is not liable for damages arising from its use without proper verification.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Grace to upload content that is illegal, defamatory or that infringes the rights of third parties; attempt to access other users’ accounts or data without authorization; interfere with the operation of the Service; or use the Service for purposes other than those intended (recipe organization, family meal planning and shopping lists).

8. Account suspension and cancellation

We may suspend or cancel your account if you violate these Terms. You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to grace.cook.app@gmail.com; when you do, your content will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Warranties and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grace will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss or the use of AI-generated content without proper verification.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of important changes by email or within the application. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent ordinary courts of Argentina, without prejudice to the rights that Consumer Protection Law 24.240 grants you as a consumer.
